Weed Eater 12-Inch 3.75 Amp Quick Snap Head Electric String Trimmer #RT112C
Weed Eater trimmers are synonymous with product innovation, exceptional performance and unbeatable value. They're the trimmer America asks for by name. The 3.7 Amp Electric Trimmer (RT112C) features a 12-inch cutting width and Quick Snap Head Type.
Customer Review: Would not hesitate to buy from this company again
I recently bought a weed eater and was very pleased with the service. The product was received within days, boxed very well with instruction book and works unbelievably great. My husband purchased a gas one and assured me I would love it. I hated it. The weed eater I purchased is electric and lightweight. Now he keeps trying to use the one I bought.
Customer Review: Great Product
For the price this is a great buy. It gets the job done and then more. Do yourself a favor and purchase this item.

Factory Reconditioned Weed Eater TE475Y 17-Inch 25cc 2-Stroke Gas Powered Curved Shaft String Trimmer
Customer Review: The worst thing ever bought
This is the first "factory reconditioned" product I have ever bought; and the last one... It is assembled upside down and cannot be used. I tried to send it back, but it cannot be returned. At least I got my money back.
Customer Review: A superior string trimmer
I've owned this exact model, a TE475Y, for several years and mostly love it--the auto line feed design is way, way better than the bump-type at least in my experience. So when I decided I needed a spare trimmer and found it here on Amazon, I was very pleased indeed, EXCEPT that the reviews here made me nervous about mail-ordering it for sure. But in the end, this product seems no longer available anywhere locally, so I decided to "Prime" order it, and with overnight delivery to hopefully minimize the potential for shipping damage. So I ordered it Monday and (of course!) received it Tuesday and sure enough the box was caved-in quite a bit, but luckily the two (yes, only two!) pieces of packing tape "securing" either end were intact, so the end flaps were secure and there were no missing parts. But it's true...AMAZINGLY there is no packing material inside the box whatsover! Zero, zip, nada, none! My goodness, they could at least have wrapped the power head in a piece of bubble-wrap!!!???!!! Come-on, Amazon, have your warehouse guys open the box, wrap the engine, and *adequately* re-tape the thing and you will save yourselves and your customers a lot of grief! Oh, well, enough griping--despite this embarrassing packing situation I had no cracks or broken parts or anything; maybe overnight FedEx is the way to go indeed. Today I fired it-up and trimmed for a couple hours; excellent, this is just a wonderful machine and I'm sorry that Poulan has apparently decided to retire the design. But at least spare parts are still very readily available; it was even sold under the "Sears Craftsman" brand so lots of repair parts are available from many sources including of course our very favorite "store", Amazon.com! Thanks!

Factory Reconditioned Expand-It Hedge Trimmer Attachment For String Trimmers #ZR15703
Expand-it Hedge Trimmer Attachment. 17 1/2" Blade length with cutting capacity up to 3/8". Double sided dual action reciprocating blade for a cleaner cut and reduced vibration. Expand-it tools fit many attachment capable trimmer brands including Ryobi, Homelite, Toro, Weed Eater, Troy Bilt, and many others. Requires no tools, no adaptors to connect to power head and shaft.
Customer Review: Works just OK.
The whole unit with timmer attached is pretty heavy. Found myself having to take frequent recovery breaks. It also makes the unit a little harder to control for detail work. Found myself having to make frequent passes over the same spot to get the job done. Has shorter and narrower teeth than my cheapo electric B&D trimmer. Will use this more for touch ups and the B&D for the twice yearly detail trims.
Customer Review: Hedge Trimmer
Price was good and the trimmer arrived within a very few days. It was as advertised, actually looked new with only a couple minor scratches. I have used it on my shrubbery and it works great. Good product, good service. Thanks!

Husqvarna 128L 28cc 2-Stroke Smart Start Straight Shaft String Trimmer
Lightweight trimmer that is perfect for homeowners looking for the ergonomic features unique to a straight shaft. Easy starting with air purge and Smart Start recoil assist. Strong, braided wire cable drive. Comes with easy loading T25 bump trimmer head. Handle adjustment can be completed without tools.
Customer Review: At long last, one that works!
Did a LOT of research online and in stores, only to be disappointed several times before finding the Husqvarna 128LDx (same as 128L, but with detachable shaft to allow for accessories) My old Ryobi bit the dust, and the new ones in the big box stores are junk. I can't believe how downhill they've gone. Pain in the neck to assemble, no more multiple choke positions for when it starts varnishing up over time (even with proper maintenance, fuel treatment and storage). I put the new one I purchased back in the box and promptly returned it to the HD big box store. I then looked at (and actually purchased and returned after reading instructions and learning more about them) the Echo and MTD (4-stroke). The Echo I bought had the kind of head where you put small pieces of string into the head easily, and then replaced the pieces when they broke off while trimming. This seemed too much a hassle to always have to stop and replace those pieces (however simple) everytime you hit a chain link fence or landscaping block. Some of the higher end Echo's are pretty nice, and were in 2nd place for me, but talking to a number of people in the know gave the nod to the Husqvarna. The Echo's have great motors, but a tendency to have string jams, meltdowns, etc. The Husqvarna is the easiest to add more line to, and is known to be bulletproof in that area. The 4-stroke MTD seemed like a sweet idea, but when I read the instructions and learned about the maintenance (you need to have feeler gauges and be able to adjust the valve-lash -- not something your average joe homeowner really wants to mess with). Plus, I heard that the durability may not be there. Certainly seems there are good reasons that people who use these things professionally stay away from the 4-strokes (heavy and lack of durability). So finally came upon the Husqvarna. Solid reviews whereever I went, and known for WORKING. Great, powerful motor that is easy starting and long lasting. Fairly light weight, trimmer head is a bump head that's very easy to refill. Straight shaft, professional style trimmer that I got for an even two bills at the dealer -- who set it up for me, got it running/adjusted perfectly and showed me all the ins and outs. Other notes: Decent sound level -- not all that loud. Does not smoke -- Etec II engine is pretty clean for a two stroke. So far I am very pleased!

Tanaka Quiet String Trimmer Line .095-Inch x 230' #746570
Specially designed COMMERCIAL-GRADE copolymer trimmer line reduces noise by up to 50 percent
Customer Review: I'm impressed
I bought this line for my Stihl weed eater hoping it would be at least as good as Stihl line. It's just as good as Stihl line. It may even be better. I paid $27 for my last roll of Stihl line. Considering the quality and durability, $27 was a real deal. I expect this new line to prove itself to be just as durable. I'm impressed. Rarely do I ever give a product a high mark. My annual income is under $8,000. I'm buying my own place and paying my own bills. I have to ration my food supply to 15 small meals per month. When I buy a product, I have to make a smart choice. Buying this line was a smart choice.
Customer Review: Look out weeds!
Man, oh, man. This string can tear through some grass, weeds, brush, ivy, or whatever you can throw at it. I am using an Echo trimmer and had been using the line provided with the Echo when I bought it. What a difference! My trimmer was eating everything in site and it was even quieter than before. Get this stuff!

Swisher Shindaiwa E4 Power Multi-Tool String Trimmer Attachment #E4-U3001
The Trimmer Attachment converts a multi-tool power source into a professional string trimmer. With a solid steel drive shaft and heavy-duty four-bearing gear case design. Easy tap and feed trimmer head is standard.
Customer Review: Quality tool with great quick-disconnect
Swisher/Shindaiwa's quick-disconnect on their multi-tool is exceptional. The lock-up at the joint is very solid, with no play at all, and the drive is via a solid shaft - not a cable as with almost all others. I down-rate this attachment to 4 stars only because the bump head isn't up to the quality of the rest of the tool. I changed mine out to an Echo pre-cut string head several years ago and have never looked back.

A little difficult to put together, even my neighbor had problems. String doesn't last very long and it's hard to get apart to replace the string.

Customer Review: For us it's been a dependable workhorse
We live in the country and after clearing land with a sythe my husband was looking for something to help him clear the brush and cut back the weeds/grass around the shed and other outbuildings. For us it's not about manicuring anything -- we need something that is a hard worker. First time my husband used this he was out there for 5 hours; of course he took some breaks so both he and the motor wouldn't overheat, but this was one solid worker. You know something is good when other people see it in action and ask to borrow it. It's been borrowed...his brother was so impressed he used it around his land (also out in the boonies). We also have the Poulan Pro PP4000C Brush Cutter Trimmer Attachment -- I highly recommend that attachment if you have brush to be cleared or want to trim back little trees and bushes. My husband says it's powerful, but it's better to go half throttle on it and save the engine than get something less powerful and burn the engine out. We just gave one of these trimmers (and the brush attachment) to my suburb-living sister who didn't want anything gas operated. She's changed her mind, they love it.
Customer Review: Poulan Pro String Trimmer
Works better than expected. Starts easy. Really like the string design of not having a spool. Very strong - can trim hedges and light tree limbs as well as the regular grass edgings. Wish I had bought one sooner. The price is low by comparison as well.

Customer Review: Agree with the previous review
This is a poor design. I was excited to see 4 cutting strings, but in order to replace the lines you must take it apart and fit the strings into the little spaces. If they fit without using tools it might have been worth the time to replace them. Spend your money elsewhere.
Customer Review: Powerful, but unuseable.
The cutting line is made up of 4 pieces, each about 9" long. Each are threaded through a central hub so that eight 3" lines stick out from under the weedeater. The hub spins & the lines cut the grass. When they break off they have to be replaced. The replacement is either to buy the line, and cut each piece & thread them through the hub or buy additional hubs. Since they break when they hit anything it would take forever to replace the line or be expensive to replace the hub. I returned it to Amazon who refunded my money without any problem. Would NOT recommend buying this unit!!
